For those of you who don't already know me, I'm a local business owner and a Rice County Commissioner. Since I was first elected, I've seen how irresponsible bickering and misplaced priorities in St. Paul are hurting all Minnesotans, and making it harder for local governments to do their jobs. If we can work together, we can have fiscally responsible policies that reflect our values of education, opportunity, and investment in the future. We can put our core values before party politics and get back to rational decision-making.
It's time to start looking ahead. We need new leaders who can envision a positive future for us, our children, and our children's children. Those of you who know me know I'm that kind of leader.
